Part one of Fall Break vacation is coming to an end! When you’re in Coronado you do not feel like you’re at the gross California beaches. It is a great beach getaway without going too far from home!

Cafe 1134

This morning for breakfast we wanted to try something new and checked out Cafe 1134. It is a cute and quant little cafe. We started with an Acai smoothie that was so fruity and sweet! Definitely Tropical!

Then enjoyed the Chef’s Mess (Sliced Sausage, Onion, Bell Pepper, and Tomatoes grilled with their Homemade Potatoes and Eggs topped with Cheddar Cheese ADD: Avocado)! Yummiest mess I have ever had to eat! This place is a great example of healthy California cuisine!

For Lunch we enjoyed the Sun Deck again! We can’t get enough on their fresh tacos!

Islander

Our last meal in Coronado was some freshly caught seafood from Islander. You can definitely tell by the vibe in the restaurant that it is run by local California fisherman. We started with some yummy oysters!

We enjoyed their yellowtail (pineapple salsa, cilantro lime rice, steamed carrots and broccoli). We got the Lemon Dill Pepper sauce, which made the yellowtail have more flavor. I also loved the rice. It was citrusy and fresh.

To end the night and our vacation in Coranado we had some classic good ol’ American smores on the beach at sunset!
